Ordering, Cost, Lead Time and Quality

Yes: orders from 50 pieces per style are very welcome.

We produce from 50 pieces per style (sizes and colors included), with 100-300 pcs the optimal range. We have a long record of first runs for sole proprietors, D2C brands, influencer labels and crowdfunding projects. DALIAN LAISIPENG is not a factory that turns work down because a lot is small: small lots are what we do best. * First samples can be made from a single piece. Runs below 50 pcs can also be handled in our sample room in some cases, so please ask us first.

Because we bring three things together: small lots, Japanese quality and Japanese-language support.

Yes: leave everything from material sourcing to trims to us as a one-stop service.

• We propose materials that fit the image you have in mind from the largest fabric markets in China (Guangzhou Zhongda, Shaoxing) and the Korean market (Dongdaemun)
• Just send a photo or a swatch of the fabric you want: that is all we need
• Original fabric development (custom prints, jacquard weaving) also available
• YKK zips, specified spin tapes, brand name labels and care/content labels can all be sourced
• Secondary processing such as washing, printing and embroidery handled end to end by our own and partner factories

MOQ is counted as the total quantity per style.

Trial runs start at 50 pcs and 100-300 pcs per style is our most efficient lot. Color and size breakdowns are agreed flexibly with you. Custom-dyed fabric, however, is ordered by the full roll (approx. 50 m), so more colorways require the corresponding yardage per color. In-stock linings and trims carry no minimum barrier.

Yes - we source specified materials through official channels.

We supply genuine YKK zippers, Japanese shell fabrics, nominated interlining and cupro linings to your specification. OEKO-TEX certified materials can be arranged if compliance is required. We compare fabric sources in Guangzhou (Zhongda), Shaoxing (Keqiao), Korea (Dongdaemun) and Japan, and swatch cards are dispatched next day.

Yes - to JIS or to your own size chart.

We work to JIS standards as well as your own size chart. CAD grading is executed from your base measurement table to as many sizes as your range requires. Measurement tolerances are set and controlled by item and fabric behaviour.

Repeats start from 50 pcs per style; patterns are kept for the duration of our cooperation.

Because we archive your master patterns and CAD data, repeats run faster than the first order and can start from 50 pcs per style. Patterns and sewing specifications are kept for the duration of our cooperation, so repeat production reproduces the same silhouette and finish as the first run.

Yes - we can sign an NDA to that effect.

Your sketches, specifications and pattern data are treated as confidential and never disclosed to third parties. We can also execute a legally binding NDA confirming that the same design is not produced for other accounts and that we will not manufacture or sell a similar item under our own name.

It depends on the design and quantity, but these ranges are the most common.

As a rule of thumb, about 1.5 to 2 times the production unit price.

Example: a $20 shirt in production → sample cost $30-$40 plus freight. * Formal quotations are calculated after the specifications are confirmed. Please also ask us about multi-color samples for trade shows or urgent sample requests.

Basically by T/T bank transfer.

• Sample fee: payable when you place the order
• Mass production: 50% at production start, 50% before shipment
• For repeat clients we can arrange terms such as settlement within 2-3 weeks after shipment
• Freight is at the customer's expense (prepayment with final invoicing afterwards is also possible)

FOB covers everything up to the factory gate; freight and duty are excluded.

Our FOB price includes fabrics, trims, pattern making, cutting, sewing, mid-press, inspection and 100% needle detection. It does not include international freight, import duty, VAT, customs brokerage or local delivery. Landed cost typically runs 35-45% above the FOB price, so we recommend planning your pricing on landed cost.

Two stages - deposit and balance before shipment; USD and RMB as standard.

Standard terms are a deposit when production starts and the balance after final inspection, before shipment. Settlement is normally in USD or RMB, and JPY can be discussed. Terms can be reviewed flexibly as our trading history grows.

Yes: we handle all of it.

We handle both “patterns supplied by you” and “fully outsourced” arrangements

• Pattern making from design drawings or photos (CAD patterns)
• Pattern duplication and grading (size runs) from a physical sample
• Storage and management of paper (hard) patterns
• Pattern data (DXF format) can also be supplied

We use OCS (ANA Group) and DHL to deliver quickly.

* For about 50 pairs of pants: roughly $94-$130 in total

Credit is possible subject to terms; one to two revisions as standard.

Sample development fees can be credited against the bulk invoice once the agreed volume threshold is met. Revisions based on your original specification and drawings - fit and detail optimisation - are handled one to two times as standard. A major design overhaul or a material change is quoted as a new sample. Approval is made from real sample photos plus a verified measurement sheet, and bulk starts only after final approval.

We plan ahead around Spring Festival; urgent orders can be prioritised.

Logistics and factory output pause nationwide around Chinese New Year, so deliveries in that window are scheduled earlier. Normal lead time is about 1-2 weeks for samples and 2-4 weeks for bulk (excluding fabric lead time). For urgent projects, priority production through line re-sequencing can be arranged on request.

Yes: a great many.

For 18 years (established 2008) we have handled the sewing for Japanese department-store brands, well-known select shops, popular influencer labels and emerging D2C brands. Staff who know the Japanese quality (J-Quality) standards inside out manage everything from reading through the spec sheet to final inspection. * Customer designs and information are strictly controlled, and we can sign an NDA.

We follow Japanese department-store standards.

• Every piece needle-detected and inspected (AQL 2.5), with in-line inspection and a final pre-shipment inspection
• Inspection reports can be issued in Japanese
• We do not simply ship and walk away. If there is a defective piece we repair it or refund it, and deal with it in good faith

Yes.

• Full support for the whole flow: 1st sample → multi-color samples → trade show → orders → mass production
• A long production record with brands selling on Instagram/TikTok/STORES/BASE/ZOZOTOWN
• Urgent sample making just before a trade show is also possible
• A small-lot, short lead-time setup that also suits made-to-order (pre-order) selling

We can handle anything from a small lot of 50 pieces per style up to full production runs of several thousand pieces.

We use a staged scale-up arrangement: 50 pcs (test sales) ➔ 300 pcs (repeat order) ➔ 1,000 pcs or more (full production), so you can increase volume in stages as sales develop. Even as the brand grows there is no need to switch factories part-way. Coats, down, cut-and-sew, womenswear and special secondary processing (garment washing, printing, embroidery) are each handled by a dedicated team per item.

We are strongest at heavy outerwear: coats that demand advanced sewing skill (wool reversible coats, chesterfields and the like) and high-quality down jackets.

Our hair-canvas tailoring and down-proof stitching are backed by 18 years (established 2008) of work for Japanese department stores and select shops. We also cover womenswear wovens (dresses, blouses), cut-and-sew and special secondary processing (garment washing, embroidery, printing), with a dedicated team per item, handling everything from small lots of 50 pieces per style.

Department-store level full inspection plus 100% needle detection.

Every garment is checked for stitch quality, measurement tolerances, colour shading, loose threads, symmetry and hardware function, and every unit passes through a needle detector. AQL-standard lot inspection can be added on request, and inspection records can be provided with the shipment.

Anything caused by our production is repaired or remade free of charge.

Defects caused by our manufacturing process are repaired or remade at our expense. Full inspection and needle detection before shipment keep defective pieces from leaving the factory; if an issue does arise, share photos and piece counts and we will trace the root cause and respond together with preventive action.

Yes, and we welcome them - you can see our own factory first-hand.

We directly operate our own sewing factory in Dalian, so client visits, live online factory tours and third-party quality or social-compliance audits are all supported. You can inspect the sewing lines, mid-press equipment and inspection stations yourself.
